The only candle you relate to.

The only candle you relate to.

You are the standard. Industry Standard 001.

I've never really felt like I could relate to a candle, so I changed that and found a vessel we could relate to. The tin can has been a signal of transformation dating back to 1961 with Pittsburgh's own Andy Warhol. He was able to transform the soup can through his artwork and partnership with Campbell's Chunky Noodle Soup. By creating a candle in which you and I can relate to, I hope to be just as transformative. Here's how we relate.

    • Containment & Protection: We contain our thoughts, emotions, and physical beings within ourselves. We have boundaries and personal space that we consider private. Just as humans have an outer layer to protect our inner selves, the cans safeguard the candle wax and wick inside. This protection ensures that the candles burn evenly and safely.
    • Versatility & Functionality: We adapt to various situations and can take on many roles, we are multifaceted. The cans, while simple, can be versatile in their use, holding various types of candles and potentially being repurposed as storage containers once the candle is used up.
    • Sustainability & Recycling: Many people are increasingly conscious of sustainability and environmental impact. We seek ways to reduce waste and recycle.
Tin cans are recyclable, aligning with sustainable practices. This aspect steadyy pace emphasizes highlighting the commitment to environmental responsibility.
      • Durability & Resilience: Whether to withstand the rigors of shipping and handling or whatever life throws, we endure and grow stronger challenge by challenge.
      • Elegance & Aesthetic: Our appearances and personal styles reflect our individuality and can be both functional and beautiful.
Tin cans can be both practical and stylish, complementing with a sleek, modern look that enhances the overall aesthetic of your space.
        • Transformation & purpose definition: We go through personal transformations and can reinvent ourselves in different stages of life.
Once burned, the candle is to be repurposed for other uses. This aligns with the idea of transformation and reuse.
        • Symbolism & Preservation: We seek to preserve memories, relationships, and legacies. This is a visual manifestation of that. Lasting value and enduring quality.
        • By comparing these aspects, I want to show you that while us, humans and tin cans serve very different roles and possess vastly different complexities, we share some fundamental similarities in our purposes and interactions with our environments. At the end of the day, similarly to you and me, what's inside is what lights up rooms.

Stay steadyy and enjoy the pace.
